Diocesan Youth Convention
Attention all 8th Grade - 11th Grade Students - The annual Diocesan Youth Convention is scheduled for July 18 - 20th at Lynchburg College. We take a regional bus to the Convention. Cost is approximately $150.00 per participant. You will stay in dorms and enjoy the activities scheduled for the weekend. All meals are provided with the exception of the meal on the way to Lynchburg and the meal on the way back to Chesapeake. Activities include break out sessions to explore your faith, a pizza party, youth dance, key note speaker session, and many more! We will close Sunday with mass with the Bishop. A $50.00 deposit will hold your spot. The balance is due before we leave for the Convention. We are limited to 10 students from each parish. Registrations are due by June 1st. Please look at your schedule and sign up to join us at the Convention. Please contact Kim for more information.

Rules and Regulations
1. The drawings will be held Monday – Friday during the Virginia Lottery’s noon-time drawing for Pick 3.
2. Prizes are accounted for on the attached calendar.
3. Winning numbers drawn on that specific day will be awarded the prize indicated on the Prize Calendar. If your ticket number matches the noon-time drawing exactly, you win the prize indicated on the calendar for that day.
4. Numbers must be in EXACT order of the Lottery noon-time drawing. (Numbers 123 cannot be 321, 231, 312, etc.)
5. The drawing for the contest will run Monday - Friday through the month of July 2008.
6. If no ticket was sold for the number indicated in the noon-time drawing, no prize will be awarded.
7. Trips, hotel stays, expiration dates, number of people and etc. May not be changed or modified. No request for modification will be accepted as the majority of these prizes have been donated for the SSM Mission Sweepstakes.
8. Daily winners will be contacted by phone or mail based on the information provided at the time of the ticket sale.
9. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Mission Group or church representative.
10. ALL TICKETS MUST BE SOLD OR RETURNED AS UNSOLD PRIOR TO JULY 1. All monies and ticket holder information must also be provided to the Mission Group prior to July 1, 2008. Outstanding tickets or unsold tickets will be considered void as of July 1, 2008.
11. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
12. Winners are responsible for making arrangements to utilize their prize unless otherwise indicated.
13. Cash will not be exchanged for the value amount of the prize.
14. Unclaimed prizes will become the property of the church sweepstakes committee unless otherwise noted.
15. Winner must comply with all State and Federal regulations.
