Dress Code for the 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist
The goal is to have the children look reverent for these special sacraments (especially 1st Eucharist).
Their clothing should reflect their reverence for God and for the Church.
1st Reconciliation
For Boys and Girls
Appropriate Church Clothes (no shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes, no sports uniforms)
1st Eucharist
Boys should wear:
Dress pants with a belt
Dress shoes with socks
Dress shirt with collar, shirt tucked in
Tie (suggested, but optional)
Jacket (suggested, but optional)
Girls should wear:
Pastels or White dress
NO GLOVES
A Veil (suggested, but optional)
